Homer Alaska has been Laurie's home for over 22 years and she has a wealth of knowledge she is willing to share to assist you in planning your Alaska Adventure! Here at the End of the Road there is plenty to do: Hiking, kayaking, beachcombing, flight-seeing, biking, clamming, horseback riding, bear viewing, fresh water and saltwater fishing, boat tours, museums, art galleries, restaurants, shopping and the list goes on! Most guests plan 3 days in Homer on their first visit and then the next trip, they spend the entire vacation here as there is so much to do and see and enjoy!
Homer is known as the Halibut Capital of the World but anglers also love to prowl Kachemak Bay and Alaska's Cook Inlet in search of salmon, ling cod and rockfish. If you're looking for a professional charter boat team that can consistently put fish on the scales and in the freezer, then Laurie is happy to make reservations for you as she is very familiar with the most experienced captains and the best boats for both fresh water and salt water fishing.!

We invite you to come and enjoy an Alaskan experience with us. We have a newly constructed cabin with an upper and
lower unit. Each unit is nicely appointed with either TV/DVD or TV/VCR, cable, WIFI, refrigerator,
microwave, coffee pot, toaster, kitchenware, linens and lots of little
extras to make this a wonderful home away from home! Cabin units are
stocked with coffee and teas along with hot and cold cereals for
breakfast.

The lower unit, Bear's Den,
accommodates up to 6 persons. It offers a full kitchen, one bedroom
with a queen bed, one bedroom with 2 twin beds, a living room with a
full size futon and a private bath. This unit offers patio doors
onto a large deck where you might want to cook up some fresh seafood
on the barbeque grill! It also has a DVD player and library of movies, along with complimentary WIFI and cable.

The upper unit, Eagle's View has dramatic cathedral ceilings and custom windows so you can
enjoy the spectacular view! This unit offers a kitchenette with a
full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, electric fry
pan and a crock pot along with a spacious living room and private
bath!
Again, one bedroom has a queen bed, the other has 2 twins and the
living room boasts 2 full size futons so this unit can accommodate
up to 8 persons! This unit offers a VCR player with a large tape library along with complimentary WIFI and cable.
This unit also shares the deck downstairs so you can cook on the
propane grill that even has a side burner.
